Having previously played under CSK captain Ruturaj Gaikwad at the domestic level and with the experience of sharing the dressing room with seasoned campaigners, the young all-rounder will aim to make a strong impact in IPL 2026 if given the opportunity. He earned a spot in the CSK squad after being picked for INR 30 Lakh during the TATA IPL 2025 Mega Auction. A dynamic right-handed batter and a handy medium-pacer, Ghosh first caught attention in domestic cricket with his aggressive stroke play and knack for delivering under pressure in the death overs. In late 2025, Ghosh became only the 12th player to pick seven wickets or more in a Vijay Hazare Trophy game.
